Health Fair in Canadian Lakes September 23
 |
Mecosta Health Services is partnering with Mecosta County General Hospital to reach out to the community through a fall Health Fair. This event will take place on September 23 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the new MHS Building 8354 100th Avenue. The health fair is a great opportunity for people who live in the areas of: Remus, Mecosta, Rodney, Lakeview, Chippewa Lake, Barryton, Canadian Lakes, Tri-Lakes, Morley, and Stanwood to discover what offerings and services are available at MHS and MCGH.
This is also a great chance to meet some of the hospital staff, learn about the latest technology available for your convenience at MCGH, and really see what services our hospital has to offer. |
The best way to learn is to look and visit, so you can make an informed choice when you or a loved one are in need of medical care. While you're at the Health Fair, stop by the booths to have your blood pressure checked, find out your body mass index, learn the key indicators for stroke prevention, get current information on caring for your feet, and more. Door Prizes and giveaways for all.
Gail Bullard, Administrative Director of Mecosta Health Services says,
"In order to serve everyone in our surrounding area, they must first know what Mecosta Health Services and Mecosta County General Hospital have to offer. We are excited to share our services with as many |
people in the public as we can to ultimately increase their choices and access to quality medical care."
As you probably have heard, we are not able to do flu shots this year because of the shortage. Please post this on the home page of our website probably through December.
Flu shots for 2004 are cancelled due to a national shortage.
