"Sisters Care" 6th Annual Women's Health Day |

The 6th Annual MCMC Auxiliary Women's Health Day - "Sisters Care", attracted 47 participants this year. Door prizes are donated by the American Cancer Society and the Mecosta County Medical Center Auxiliary Gift Shop.

 Women of all ages showed up to hear General Surgeon Jerry Pearson, M.D., and Oncologist Lawrence E. Paul, M.D. discuss new treatments available for breast cancer, including a breast stereo tactic biopsy machine now available at MCMC. Women walked away with tips on caring for themselves and for each other.
MCMC Education Coordinator, Amy Wemple spoke on myths and facts about nutrition and cancer. Cynthia Shafer, from Migun Company of Bay City offered demonstrations and information about the Migun Thermal Massage Bed and how it increases circulation and provides detoxication. Migun offered to pledge $200 to MCMC for every massage table purchased by attendees.
