Ice Cream Social
The community is invited to the hospital's annual Ice Cream Social on Thursday, June 24 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The location is the Triangle Park area behind MCGH. Come with your family for some fun, ice cream, and music. |
Yard Sale
Stop by the hospital's second annual yard sale in the Triangle Park area behind the hospital.
The sale begins at 9:00 AM. The MCGH and MHS employees are donating the sale items and the profit goes toward the MCGH Foundation. |
11th Annual Rehab Tea
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Team is holding this year' Rehab Party in the department on Thursday, June 10 from 2:00-4:00 PM. Past patients interessted in attending should RSVP by June 4 by calling (231) 592-4444.

MHS Canadian Lakes Grand Opening A Success |

Mecosta Health Services of Canadian Lakes welcomed the public to tour their new facility on Thursday, May 20. Over 100 guests were in attendance.
Frequent comments from the guests included the spaciousness of the ovvice, the lovely view from the waiting room and the convenience of the location. Several guests were new to the area and expressed interest in seeking care at the facility.

Tours of the facility were hosted by Dr. Charles Brummeler, Dr. Channing Finkbeiner, Andria Keusch PA-C, Bev Brecker LPN, Toni Magoon MA, Chris Sharp Medical Coder and Tina Brecker, Front Reception.

Hospital Building Project Update |

The MCGH ER/OR Project is moving ahead quickly. Much of the cement work has been completed, with the second floor underway at this time. According to Project Manager Netty Cove, also Chief Clinical Officer for MCGH, the project is on schedule and is meeting budget targets. If this |
level of performance continues, the building will be enclosed by fall and service will begin in some of the new portion of the structure, while the old quarters are vacated for renovation or redesign. At this writing, the main public areas will be open by November and the project will be |
