MCGH Auxiliary Women's Day — February 26

 The Mecosta County General Hospital Auxiliary is hosting and sponsoring the 5th Annual Women's Day event scheduled for Saturday, February 26, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM., with Registration from 9:30-10:00 AM.
The topic this year is "Love your Heart" with the focus of heart health.
The location is the United Church of Big Rapids, 120 S. State St.

The cost is $15.00, including lunch catered by the Visiting Chef, David Gorham.
Learn how choices throughout every day impact the heart, find some healthy ways to exercise your heart, and laugh and relax as we learn to cope with stress.
Speakers include:
- Dr. Harold Moores on Heart Health
- Cindy VanderSloot, FSU trainer
- Gwen Dennis, RN on Relaxation

Vendors will present jewelry, cosmetics, clothing, items from Pampered Chef and more.

You may also pick-up a form at MHS located on the 2nd floor of the Medical Arts Building, any waiting area at MCGH, or at the hospital gift shop.

Medical Group Practice Week

Mecosta Health Services celebrated National Medical Group Practice Week in January. Other healthcare employees and patients were able to recognize MHS's contribution to our community, and to celebrate accomplishments and benefits of MHS's services - from both offices in Big Rapids and Canadian Lakes.
Each day there were displays and fun interactions within the offices including: banners, ribbons to wear and photos. Employees were recognized for their service and patients were pampered with treats.
MHS also celebrated its unique partnership with MCGH - having the ability to assure patients that they will have physician care close by. Mecosta Health Services is also proud to offer primary medical care for all ages newborn to 100+, pregnancy care and delivery, dermatology services and physical rehabilitation services close to home.
