Medical Services - Occupational Medicine:
 The Occupational Medicine Department at MCMC specializes in workers compensation cases, the treatment and prevention of occupational injuries and diseases, and safety in the workplace. Local companies send their employees here because they know they can trust the medical care of our experts. Our staff of physicians and physician assistants are trained to determine work-relatedness of complex cases and frequently do job site visits to better understand the work environment. The Occupational Medicine staff works closely with each employer and employee to ensure a timely and safe return to work after the injured worker receives proper treatment. Our services include:
Pre-placement physicals, work-related injuries and illnesses, DOT (Department of Transportation) physicals, bus driver physicals, Haz-Mat/fire-fighter physicals, urine and hair drug screening, breath alcohol testing, audiometry (hearing tests), vision screening, immunizations (including travel), EKG's, X-rays, lab, TB testing and employee wellness programs.
The staff is certified in a variety of areas and follow guidelines set by the Michigan Department of Transportation.
