Sports Physicals Scheduled for June 2 and August 4

   News Release: 4/7/2010

Mecosta County Medical Center, along with its Medical Staff from Mecosta Health Services and the Big Rapids Sports Boosters, conduct screening physical assessments every year for more than 300 student athletes.

Local students take part in the exams in order to meet eligibility requirements for sanctioned athletic programs for the coming school year.

MCMC provides space and personnel, including vital signs, physical assessment and visual acuity tests. Members of the MCMC Medical and Allied Health Staffs conduct the physical exams on a voluntary basis, although a small donation is suggested for the Big Rapids Sports Boosters, which uses the revenues to assist with student oriented projects.

Sports physicals are scheduled for June 2 and August 4, 2010 at the Big Rapids Mecosta Health Services office. Call (231) 592-4409 with any questions.
