What are the objectives of the MCMC Foundation?
There are four basic objectives. They are:
  1. Provide a coordinated program of continuing philanthropic opportunities for potential donors.
  2. Assist in obtaining grants from state and national foundations through personal knowledge, skills and contacts of foundation members
  3. Promote community awareness and support of Mecosta County Medical Center.
  4. Increase Mecosta County Medical Center's awareness of community expectations and needs regarding health services.
Who manages the Foundation?
The MCMC Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors who set policy designed to help the foundation meet its continuing objectives.  Administrative activities are delegated to its Foundation Director. The Board is made up of community representatives, committee chairpersons, and hospital personnel, MCMC Medical Staff, Auxiliary and MCMC Board of Trustees representatives.

How is the MCMC Foundation supported?
The Foundation is supported entirely by private donations and fundraising activities and has developed a variety of programs that allow community members to show their support of MCMC and its mission:

As your gift helps the Foundation grow, you are helping ensure that the Medical Center will have the resources to expand and maintain the high quality advanced care with a personal touch, that they provide for all who need it.
